As a qualitative researcher, I help organizations understand shifts in business, culture, and technology. As a design strategist, I use those insights to develop new products, services, and brand experiences.
Most recently, I worked for Ziba, a design and innovation consultancy that specializes in front-end innovation. Prior to that, I was the Associate Director of Research at R/GA, a full-service agency specializing in digital transformation. Before that, I led the consultancy practice at PSFK, a hybrid agency that combines custom research with events and editorial.
I help organizations do four things well:
1) See the big picture: Identify emerging technologies, consumer behaviors, and market shifts. Re-frame problems and explore the entire opportunity space.
2) Connect with users: Lead research programs that reveal the motivations of consumers. Find the overlap between user needs and organizational goals.
3) Tell compelling stories: Support internal and external thought leadership. Align stakeholders around shared visions of the future.
4) Develop new ideas: Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions. Generate boundary-pushing concepts and rapidly iterate value propositions.
